Really enjoying my time in the studio, with beautiful warm weather streaming in the door. Have had a pretty busy time over November and December finishing works for the "People, places & pigment" exhibition at Oxford Gallery from 8th Feb-15th March. It has been great collaborating with Lauryne Hart and Erika Husselmann as our works are all very different but with vibrant colour being a common theme...hence the title!

Have also just finished some pieces for the "Affair of the Heart" exhibition, which I have been a part of for many years now, at Northcote College over the weekend of the 1st March. It is always a fabulous exhibition with a wide variety of sculptures, paintings, pottery etc. so keen to get along and have a look at that.

Have works going to exhibitions every month until August as well as a couple of commissions so that will keep me out of trouble. I seem to work best with dates looming, though I am looking forward to a fishing trip up north next month....camera will be on hand for scenery shots from the water too.

Right, enough chatting...better get out into that studio...just working on an old farmhouse with beehives from the forgotten highway (43), a pohutukawa close up, Matai Bay and Woolleys Bay (both Northland)...will keep you posted.
